Add the Meta Pixel
You can add the Meta pixel to your site through the Replo Agent, or manually through site settings.Adding the Meta Pixel using the Replo Agent
Give Replo your Pixel ID and ask Replo to add it. The pixel loads through Replo’s consent layer, so it stays GDPR and CCPA compliant and only fires once a visitor consents.Adding the Meta Pixel manually
- Open your Replo Agent project
- Select the Site Builder app
- Optional: if you have multiple Replo sites, select the one you want to add the Meta pixel to
- Open the ⋯ more-options menu in the top bar and choose Site settings
- Click Scripts & Pixels
- Scroll down and click Meta Pixel
- Paste your Meta Pixel ID and click Save
Only add your Meta pixel once. Installing it both via Replo and through
another tool, such as Google Tag Manager,
can cause duplicate tracking and skew your data.

Shopify Conversion Events
If you’re using Shopify as a checkout provider, Shopify handles trackingInitiateCheckout and Purchase events on the Shopify backend, using Meta’s Conversions API (CAPI).
In this situation, it’s possible that you may see on-site events (ViewContent, AddToCart, etc) show up, but not Shopify-managed events - for example, you might see a lot of add to cart events, but no purchase or checkout events. If you see this situation:
- Make sure you’re using the same Meta pixel in Replo and in Shopify. Verify that the pixel id in your Replo project, under Site Settings > Scripts & Pixels > Meta, is the same as the one in Shopify Admin > Facebook & Instagram
- Since checkout and purchase events are tracked by Shopify, it’s possible that there may be delays in processing these events. Generally, Shopify-managed events appear soon after the actions happen, but they may be delayed by up to a few hours. If you just started running traffic, make sure to wait a few hours to see if event data comes through from Shopify.
Replo-tracked Meta Events
Replo’s default configuration tracks the following Meta events in most standard scenarios:PageViewViewContentAddToCart
